Mother, Father, Sister, Brother

Big Day Out, 2008.  Was chatting to a guy, was missing Little Birdy, but we had something in common, eco-friendly clothing.  His partner, Katie, is Mother Maria.  Mother Maria is a Qld based clothing label; their garments differ from the norm.  Inspired by op shopping, magazines and retro patterns.  A collection of vintage fabrics are used, I hear she has been collecting them for over 15 years.   Katie also has a blog too.

Summer 2010/11 The Sea, and Me.....'wonder at the heights of mountains, at the huge waves of the sea, at the long courses of the rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motions of the stars'....

I wonder how well he really was?

I love this dress, it's from a cute little vintage shop on top of a hill overlooking the stunning ocean in Biarritz, France.  AmaZinG dresses spanned the racks along with all the vintage accessories you can think of, oh the shoes, too small of course, the hats and bags and brooches....ask me about it one day.

I feel wonderful in this dress.
